How did you come to know Christ?
I had the privilege of growing up in church. I loved going to Sunday School and hearing the stories from the Bible. I remember understanding that I was a sinner at an early age, but I had no idea why God should or would forgive me. At the age of 15, the youth pastor at my church clearly explained that it was through the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus (the stories I heard as a kid) that God could forgive me for all that I had done (and will do) wrong. It was then that I asked Jesus to be my Savior. My freshman year in college was when I realized that Jesus needed to be more than just my Savior – he needed to be Lord of my life – and I began to serve Him.

Favorite Verse:
Psalm 37:4
“Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.”

If you were stranded on a deserted island, which three books (besides the Bible) would you want with you?
I would need three new books since I don’t re-read books …anything by Beth Moore or Max Lucado would be good.

Which Biblical character (apart from Christ) has impacted your life most?
James. I suppose that is more a book than a character, but he was a character that wrote a book. It was through a study on the book of James that I understood that “faith without deeds is dead”.

What are you currently learning in your journey with God?
To listen to His still, small voice…and obey it!

What is your favorite movie?
I have categories of favorite movies by genre. However, I would have to say that Mary Poppins is my all-time favorite.

What is your favorite dessert?
Black Tie Mousse Cake from Olive Garden

What do you enjoy most about Chapel of the Cross?
The kids!  I love that Chapel of the Cross is a place that values and loves children and I get to be a part of that ministry.

Anything else you would like to tell us about yourself?
Disney and the Patriots would probably sum up the “anything else” in my life!
