How did you come to know Christ?
I had the privilege of growing up in church. I loved going to Sunday School and hearing the stories from the Bible. I remember understanding that I was a sinner at an early age, but I had no idea why God should or would forgive me. At the age of 15, the youth pastor at my church clearly explained that it was through the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus (the stories I heard as a kid) that God could forgive me for all that I had done (and will do) wrong. It was then that I asked Jesus to be my Savior. My freshman year in college was when I realized that Jesus needed to be more than just my Savior he needed to be Lord of my life and I began to serve Him.

If you were stranded on a deserted island, which three books (besides the Bible) would you want with you?
I would need three new books since I don’t re-read books …anything by Beth Moore or Max Lucado would be good.

Which Biblical character (apart from Christ) has impacted your life most?
James. I suppose that is more a book than a character, but he was a character that wrote a book. It was through a study on the book of James that I understood that “faith without deeds is dead”.
