MARCH CHAPEL CARES - The upcoming month’s Chapel Cares project is the Community-Wide Easter Egg Hunt on March 27th. Last year we had close to 1000 attendees and we’re hoping to double that this year so a lot of help is needed! If you haven’t signed up already check the insert for available volunteer positions and place it in the offering plate.
ARE YOU CURRENTLY OR OCCASIONALLY INVOLVED IN COMMUNITY SERVICE? - We would like to add a new dimension to Chapel’s Easter Egg Hunt on March 27th by making our visitors aware of Chapel’s outward focus and encourage them get involved too. If you could provide a dozen or so pamphlets from your organization for display, please contact Lynn Hall at 508-898-3934 or

BOSTON AIDS AFRICA - Want to make a real, tangible difference in the effort to care for those suffering from AIDS in Africa? You can! Chapel of the Cross is joining with other Boston-area churches, businesses, and families to fund and assemble much-needed caregiver kits, in partnership with World Vision. Each caregiver kit costs $30 and is filled with basic supplies to provide compassionate care for adults and children suffering from AIDS. For more information, go to bostonaidsafrica.org or call Trish Reske at 508-596-5525 or Carol Slicklen at 508-380-2134.
FIRE AND RAIN - On Sunday, March 14, we will be holding a Solemn Assembly during the Fire and Rain Prayer Gathering. The Solemn Assembly incorporates the spiritual discipline of confession. The Lenten Prayer Guide that was included in the bulletin a couple weeks ago included Scripture readings that will help prepare your heart and mind for this night. Just in case you didn’t get the Lenten Prayer Guide, we will be emailing the daily Scripture readings.
NEW RESOURCES AT THE CONNECTION CENTER - Stop by the Connection Center to check out a number of new resources. The resource of the month is our “Chapel Cares” t-shirts, available in adult and youth sizes and perfect to wear as we lead up to the Easter Egg Hunt. We also have two CDs of worship by Chapel's own Andy Needham.
