Chapel of the Cross has committed to providing a worship experience at the detox unit of Healthlink in Worcester on the first Sunday of every month from 5:00 to 6:00pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for people who want to extend their caring ministry:
- people who are convicted by Jesus’ command that we care for others in need,
- people with a heart for addicts, homeless, mentally ill,
- people who are already or who want to become more comfortable in a shelter setting where residents (or homeless visitors) may be dirty, sick, disinterested, disruptive,
- people who have a vision of what the message of God’s love might do in a place of such despair.
