Partnering with Parents

As Director of Children’s Ministries, it is my desire to come alongside you as you strive to “train [your] child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6).

Parenting is not the easiest job in the world. It is increasingly challenging and takes huge commitment to try to raise godly children in this generation.

As part of our commitment to parents, our Children’s Ministries will continue to host parenting seminars in 2008. Registration is required for these events.

Creative Correction: The Bible Study addresses a wide range of discipline issues and provides practical, biblical, (and at times, humorous) approaches!

In this six-session study, Lisa Whelchel uses hundreds of examples from her own experiences, and those of parents across the nation, in dealing with everyday discipline issues such as:

  • lying
  • laziness
  • tattling
  • selfishness
  • disobedience

This group study is chock-full of refreshing, innovative ideas to help parents win the discipline battle by offering effective tools that can produce long-term results.
